I would say it's because BL is a forum for a specific fandom and has a specific community, unlike SB, which is more general-purpose.

Considering we can discuss such things in a TM general thread on SB, this is incorrect (though FGO stuff tends to drown out the discussions). Writing such things in fanfics just for the sake of titillation or espousing views similar to LLL is actual banworthy stuff.

I still find it hilarious and somewhat indicative of the general level of maturity there that SB considers something as inoffensive as tits to be banworthy. You can't even link to anything r18, which has caused no small amount of problems in recommending fanfics written on BL.

I mean it goes the other way as well if we talk about BL, especially considering what happened to Gen News which I've shitted up for a bit as well. Maturity is more than the ability to see or read NSFW stuff, and we shouldn't pretend otherwise.

Besides, SB is clear on being a SFW forum, so I don't see why this is something to mock. It's like mocking BL for being about TM works. Like Gaul said, different sites for different purposes end up having different rules and attitudes on the enforcement of said rules.

That said, Leo used to be better at this trolling thing. I know we've never gotten along, but I'm a bit worried for him. That post looked like a 'needed to mock Drac, but too bored/tired to do it right.' I mean to be fair I wouldn't call modding on this site too great either because we mostly try to keep it as minimal as possible, which requires the community to be mature enough to match.

Why would Nasu visit any website in English when, by all accounts, his own ability at English goes no further than "female Arthur = Altria"? You're rather underestimating how insular JP internet can be, especially when it comes to the fanbase of an established Japanese piece of media. Not to mention I doubt anyone looking for generic Fate/TM stuff would end up here unless he was looking for BL on purpose.

The most recent thread update is a thread asking whether the forum is dead, updated in October. Lol. That being said, a website where most of the last thread updates are from 2018-2019 isn't as dead as I thought it would be. Also, the website design is not great.
