Because of him having to make some changes because of Nasu? Even Miura wanted to follow close as possible to the original story

The difference is that Sudou manned up and rejected everything.
IIRC Miura had the storyboard for ep20 ready but he didn't like it because "it was too much like the original" and asked Nasu to change it, thing Nasu did. I don't remember if it was in the BDBOX interview or elsewhere.

Sure, but from what I've read from people who actually went to watch the movie, Sudou's approach paid off. For UBW Nasu wanted changes and Miura accepted, for HF Nasu wanted changes and Sudou refused. Simple as that.

Of course, all of this based on what that Frog guy said about Sudou rejecting the changes.
Now lets wait for the drafts for HF to bash Sudou but not so hard for not having his name attached to Oblivion Recording

That's the magic of the ones who only praise anything more if it was made by the author.
When the epilogue of UBW aired most people praise it like a really good ending and better than in the vn. Then when the draft of Nasu was posted.. well you already know how they feel about it
And that reviewer from ANN?

Yeah, I know that other things were odd choices
Im not trying to said that everything that he changed was justifiable, but it annoys me to see how they just put the blame in the guy because of his previous work in KnK and even making some false accusations about some changes that were not made by him in the first place
IMO the epilogue was good except for that part after the credits that made lots of people think "wait, so Shirou becomes Archer after all?!" (As far as I can tell, this is a fairly common opinion.) That's exactly the part where Nasu's draft differs. So, I think it's totally legit to say that, in this one instance, Miura should have deferred to Nasu, but otherwise he should have stuck more with [the original VN/his own judgment].
I've read the article. Nasu said, he thought it would require a major rewrite to convey the themes and story of HF in an anime. He likened it to "brain surgery/organ transplant to a different person level of sophistication for an authentic experience", but when he read the script from Sudou, he likened it to" what the fuck is this? A magic grimoire?", basically mindblown at Sudou's ability. With that he is relieved and happy.
