Still, circumstantial evidence points that maybe something happened, but until we get an official report it's basically just that.

What I only know is the expenses that they have paid for animation itself, not the other parts that makes the animation company run like merch and such.

Also, how they pay taxes and how the taxation ministry categorizes animation companies. Someone stated here that Gainax faced a similar situation and ended up not owning Evangelion due to those cases.

Right, there was several things that happened in between Takeshi Sawamura arrest and Gainax being removed from the copyright holder status for Eva, more than a decade of events. Studio Khara did end up suing Gainax for a $900,000 loan they gave them and Gainax failed to pay on time, so it wasn't like money problems between the two wasn't there, but Anno leaving had more to do with his unhappiness with how the merch of the franchise had been handled by Gainax, and Gainax not wanting to go to court over this particular matter, so they agreed to all of his petitions in regard to the copyright and lost the rights to Eva. Like I said, financial and work culture ended up driving talent away.

The taxes problem that Gainax had in the 90s was more of a microcosm of how poorly run the studio finances was (and continued to be until 2014 at least), while the Eva thing was more of an indication of how they failed to secure the rights to the IP at the time, and just took a laissez faire attitude at who owned what.

I hate how even in fan screening, where tickets are more expensive, we still got a bunch of people who laughs loudly during inappropriate moments

Excaliblasts aren't that small, especially not Excaliblasts powered by a Saber that can't hold back. They were all just her tossing mana around willy nilly, except the great big kaboom at the end.

Because it matches description of Mana Burst ability - enormous amount of magical energy always covering her body like a dense fog regardless of her will. It was name Magic Energy Release in mirrormoon translaition IINM.
