Bespoke: VN tracks have value in their association with specific moments or general moods evoked while reading the text and their structure and orchestration should be adapted to the needs of a different medium in order for them to translate effectively in anime.
I agree fully that fukasawa's mahoyo work surpasses his UBW by a factor of 10(and the only major standouts were the VN remixes and zero reprise). But kaijura's HF trilogy work i feel is at her weakest. the only song i actively even remember individually is "he comes back again and again". Opinions but goddamn do i have absolutely zero agreement with this one
At this point hearing Kaijura's soundtracks just piss me off.
I don't really care about EMIYA and I've given up on Ever Present Feeling, but hearing tracks like Trespassing, Magic Hour, Midnight Loophole would have been fucking great. Those tracks were the ones that really set the mood for me.
And Berserker's dubstep theme was great, ya'll just have shit taste.
Also hard to leave a lasting impression when most themes last about a minute and half (maximum) and are used once during one movie.

Interesting stuff
personal highlights
If Zouken's goal was just immortality he would try to become a DA but he might have terrible DA affinity
Mind of Steel Shirou would win his HGW because plot
Saber Alter can't use Avalon because she no longer believes in utopia
The three families didn't create the Servant summoning incantation, but the lines "Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the eternal world, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the eternal world." was added in to represent the Matou and Einzbern wish.
Spoiler:
If Rin was sent to the Matou and Sakura kept in Tohsaka, Tokiomi wouldn't know how to teach Sakura because of her element so he'd send her to the Clocktower for her education. They didn't say what would happen to Rin other than she'd become TOHSAKA from capsule servant as a joke.

Matou is a mistake
What does having terrible DA affinity really mean? Would he mess up and just die instead of becoming one?
Maybe devolve into a ghoul or something.
FGO Supports
if good DA affinity = sacchin i.e. being able to skip the dead/ghoul phase and go straight to DA with excellent blood mileage and a RM to boot
then by deduction bad DA affinity = being so shit that you'd probably never be able to break from your parent DA's control - or being stuck in a mindless zombie state - or, otherwise, possibly, fucking up and dying

probably so it can be used in FGO at an opportune moment, that's the usual reason TM drops tidbits of info like that these days

If the world chants an incantation and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
