Has someone seen Katanagatari anime? Remember how was Shichika Hachiretsu animated the first time? I think it could be pretty much like that.

But then, in my opinion, it will be anticlimactic. After many years of reading the awesomeness in the VN, it only took exactly 3 seconds of the whole scene for Nine Lives Blade Works. As it is said in the VN, 3 seconds is the countdown for that whole scene, yet for Shirou it looks to him as if three seconds is a very long time.

What will take him long is the fact that he is struggling to remove the Shroud because of the limitations in the Projection. Yup, although they are compatible, the knowledge of the projection process in Archer's arm is really a poison.

i agree i actually like rin more in hf than ubw. which is funny because i also like saber more in ubw and hf than fate
i guess the heroines arent as good in their own routes (other than sakura but mostly because she's completely irrelevant in the other 2)

I thought they could bullet-time Shirou aiming at the body part and starting the swing, then speed up for the actual swing, then bullet-time again and speed up again (have the camera focus on their slowmo breaths and slowmo drops of sweat and blood in-between for good measure), rinse and repeat 8 times, then have the 9th slowmotion part show Herc starting to swing as well, but animate it faster than Shirou's to illustrate that itt'l reach.

Then show a closeup of Illya beeing reflected in Herc's eye and him stopping, and have Shirou deliver the last slash in real time again.

For good measure they may or may not end it with a stylized still after that.

That's what you're doing, except in slow motion.
