Depends on how you've setup the characters and what you want to do with them. Do you want the audience to interpret their own ideas into the character or do you want to say something about them without necessitating exposition.
Since Nasu writes with discussion in mind, even with wordswordswords exposition, a lot of stuff is up to you to eextract. I'd say even when things are perfectly layed out people headcanon the story quite a lot with FSN.

I hope this isn't breaking some rules, but I was wondering something regarding the camrip. As is known, a camrip was uploaded to the internet soon after the first premiere of Spring Song, but it was quickly removed from anime torrent websites across the web. I'm just wondering, why? These websites host illegal download links for hundreds of anime; what makes the camrip so special? I don't recall this happening for Lost Butterfly, though that was a while back.
Probably because it's a movie, and a new release. Movie producers and distributors are way more likely to have lawyers on speed dial than anime studios.

Not really. Not the torrent sites that host shit from Funi and CR constantly. Also, Netflix. It's more likely the bad quality inherent to camrips. Same reason they delete machine translations like what that Mizore person did, as the site gets flooded with people trying to fix or edit the machine translation without realizing it's too wrong from the start.

It's kinda funny how that video is literally the VN with some few second clips from the movie, somehow implying this fixes it.
I mean, if you wanna read the VN, read the VN, you don't need snippets from the movie. That is not how you 'fix' a scene. You don't add text after text in a movie, lol.
And tbh, 9LBW is overhyped.
The structure of the vn and the movie versions are too different to splice anyways. Just accept that ufotables movies are different from source material.
There were things i enjoyed about the hf movie trilogy and things i disliked, but its just a fact that its not a replacement for the vn in a multitude of ways. and that both formats have things they specialize in by their very nature of being different experiences
