Ueda has stated that she at least used to dislike Shirou before ufotable. Im not aware of Kawasumi ever outright stating disliking Shirou, but from various throwaway lines I’ve gradually built up the feeling she rather ships Saber with Gil and now Merlin.
Shitaya and Kadowaki are Allies of Shirou through and through, though. From non-Stay Night Fate VAs, Shimazaki is a big Shirou appreciator.

I think that is still current with Ueda since that was post UBW anime I heard of that. Shitaya getting into character is something you've seen for a bit, since she uses the Sakura mannerisms even when she played Kyouko in Kore wa Zombie desu ka.
Ilya's VA I didn't think I heard that. But Shitaya liking Shirou is about as entertaining as Abe (Touma from Index) being a big fan of Orsola.
@Raff - well she did offer her only weapon (or what she thought was one) to him to aid in saving Miyu, so there is that.
Kawasumi doesn’t dislike shirou, she just digs the blond look.
also, she doesn’t ship saber with Gil, she ships herself with Gil.
Action is the only thing he can do competently, and even that is questionable at times.
Emiya-san directing was great and he is a good animator and his storyboard is general are good.
Ueda also mentioned after Lost Butterfly that she finally understood Archer's motives this time, unlike in the previous routes.

Eh, it's a standard cooking/iyashikei with the only thing that stands out about it being that it's Fate themed. I enjoy the use of its bright color palette and lack of heavy VFX though. Still not as good their Naoko-san OVA though that's a lot more interesting in terms of its directing and presentation imo.

It had a lot of standout moment to me that i put it above standard Cooking shows like EP6 which i loved and definitely prefer it over Naoko-san which was better it terms of animation only.

Though considering the audience reaction to Seki during one Zero panel, I wouldn't be surprised if it was just her personal fangirling. XD
He does understand that the kiddies love more dynamic Michael Bay explosions. Though seriously, people at their heart do like fights with big, ever escalating stakes and scale. So even if a fight would normally be over after a few strikes, they want to drag it out to show the power and majesty of Servants. Saber Alter and Herc was originally a few slashes and he was eaten after an Excal, because as she is now, she is the "lemme just fuck him up" mode.
