Even the white dress from the HF movies wasn't that nice.
The look with the black jacket over the dress (or whatever you call them) is, IMO, the best Sakura has ever looked.
One issue with Sakura, I think, is that her outfits sort of hide her charms too much. It probably ties in realistically with her backstory, but I feel it makes her seem more drab than Rin & Saber.
Their outfits and colors stand out and are almost iconic/tied in to them. And match better with Archer/Shirou respectively.
Sakura's outfits feel less "THIS IS SAKURA" in comparison. And don't match with Rider as well.
It doesn't even seem particularly purple.

Yes. The problem is, those clothes from Taiga are her default costume.

Same deal with arturia wearing rins clothes for the whole story. Kinda crazy to think the cast is just surviving off of hand me downs

yep, i gey where sudou was going in the movie mixing black and white but i still like the VN better
Honestly, blue & white go better with Saber's blonde hair than Rin's black hair. I actually kind of think the black suit she wears in Zero doesn't go well with her hair color.
Like it's this color coordination thing.
And Sakura, in contrast to Rin & Saber, doesn't have a clothing color for her that works very well with her purple sprite hair (yeah I know it's actually black in-setting but well...)

I think it means her hair is naturally black. But was changed purple. Sakura even mentioned that her hair and eyes were altered as a result of zoukens tampering
we all know that, but warrelis imply her hair is always supossed to be black in univese
