The one I remember was them wanting to raise the SSR rate slightly (I think it was just by 1%? Maybe even .5%, can't recall), and that getting rejected.

It's like asking someone "why is a billionaire still earning millions a year when they could just let other more unfortunate people get the opportunity to earn millions instead?", right? But they still earn the money, they still get more rich and they really aren't actually helping the poor/low-income people out. Sure, they may appear and do some so-called big donations to charity or fundraisers but that's just a drop in the water to them. And it doesn't really affect the bottom line at all.

Maou is an amalgamation of every nobu, so she's both male and female. Kama is a male god (just in a female host) but also represents like the love or whatever towards everyone in the entire world so really he can be whatever you want him to be.
