Yeah, following the chain of responses from here, somehow I came up with Chen Gong getting 7 additional overkill ticks he shouldn't have gotten.
In retrospect, tying this weird effect to Arash's NP would have made sense but seeing as Arash does not gen back NP (on top of dying unless he has guts on) from his it's just something that never came up.
Even with Arash's OC hit only being one extra hit, this probably would have been noticed years ago if Arash possessed an Arts NP.
I haven't watched the video yet but simply doubling NP hits shouldn't explain it unless it's doubling also on the ones that died already. Even then, I don't think that adds up properly, cause there were still 7 overkill hits unaccounted for, so another 4 on the sole survivor enemy won't cut it.
It happens on a per enemy basis. Like, he won't get the extra NP from the enemy in the front of it dies, but would have the OC proc if the second one survives, for example. In short, 3 survivors=most NP refunded, 2 survivors would be second best, then 1 survivor, and no survivors would net him the least amount of refund.
Yeah, he's not getting any overkill hits from enemies that survive, just normal hits.
So basically figure out the normal multiplier's damage to see which enemies would survive that, then add in the OC's bonus damage that's also going to be 4 hits. Guess that could answer the issue.

Marie replaces Siren Song with Royalty's Timbre. The cooldown goes down by one, the charm is not longer gender-limited, and it now includes Charisma.
Caesar's Crocea Mors is stronger and gets some new effects before attacking.
