Oh god, I just saw Shonagon's animations. At least for Murasaki I could imagine her third ascension being the one that I would see in a Fate/SN scenario or similar, but I just can't do the same for Shonagon. They clearly overdid it here.
Heck, even Suzuka fights in a way that doesn't make me disconnect from her despite her whole old-fashioned Gal setting, not sure why they couldn't at least aim for that for Shonagon.

The sprites, sure. But the way she attacks feels wrong honestly. Wish I could explain why, it's just how I feel.
