What we know about the event's story so far:

We go to a Micro-Singularity in Aeaea and find one mysterious Servant who the event page is most definitely not telling who it is. Someone stole Mr. Who Could It Be's memories and our goal is to find out who did it and what's the big mystery hidden in these stolen memories.

The mysterious Servant whose identity is hidden is described as having a past horrendously dysfunctional romance with Circe, which involved constant arguments with him constantly threatening to leave her house and her threatening back that he's not going anywhere on her watch; but they are most very definitely refusing tell us his identity. Just who could this elusive alluded Servant be? I can't even begin to imagine.

And so passes another White Day without a Servant as rollable as Amakusa.

And so passes another White Day without a Servant as rollable as Amakusa.

To be fair, Amakusa would've fit right in with this level of Servant before the two power-ups he got.

That said, I have no hopes for characters getting power-ups unless they're deemed worthy money-grabs by DW. Looking at you, Ishtar vs every other event 5-star that hasn't gotten a power-up to make their NP the standard power.

To be fair, Amakusa would've fit right in with this level of Servant before the two power-ups he got.

That said, I have no hopes for characters getting power-ups unless they're deemed worthy money-grabs by DW. Looking at you, Ishtar vs every other event 5-star that hasn't gotten a power-up to make their NP the standard power.

That said, the recent Xiang Yu skill upgrade means that we could potentially get skill upgrades for Servants who might need it. Not that Ishtar and her roughly 100% damage boost when all buffs're applied needs any but hey, maybe they'll give her some... buff removal resist.

EDIT: Oh, read wrong. You were comparing between Ishtar and other event 5* Servants.

To be fair, X Alter's 2nd skill upgrade is a damage boost. On a Berserker with Quick NP. Where Quick is already a high NP multiplier. What's next? Her NP removes the target from existence (read: stun) for 1 turn?

EDIT: Correct me if I'm wrong but Schez is Scheherazade, right? She's not an event Servant tho?

That so huh. Though our selection of servants this event is a bit random. I'd be happy if they're themselves and not stand in's for sailors she knew in life

Tbf, the selection of servants for events looks random like 90% of the time
Maybe the characters are the new new Argonauts for this mission given Jason is there and he does has a connection to the island and Circe
(And I'm not taking about Medea, during the journey back on Apollonius Rhodius's Argonautica, the crew visits Aeaea island*)


*Also, a little random, but given that book, the Captain (Triton) should get the Argo trait when he gets released. Triton also assist them during the journey back

My point was that complaining about Ishtar vs non-buffed limiteds is silly when she doesnt even get preferential treatment and is lucky to have her NP interlude
while we have much worse examples of preferential treatment (MHX/A, hell, Nero fucking Bride) which sometimes is not even competent (Schez who still sucks after all of her buffs)

Taunt on the 2 partner Servants might have some interesting CQ applications. Something akin to Chen Gong NP+self-taunt to clear two slots for backup supports to enter the fray. So it's not like there isn't any potential there, but I do agree it could have been much better.

My point was that complaining about Ishtar vs non-buffed limiteds is silly when she doesnt even get preferential treatment and is lucky to have her NP interlude

Both of your allies would have to have gutter trash HP for that to work. The only utility I see there is making your allies eat two ST NPs, but why bother when

Non-support servants without damage have no CQ applications regardless of their skillset
