The more relevant point here is that equal sign is used to hyphens in foreign names, as Yggdrasil aptly pointed out with "Charles=Henri Sanson". Even FGO Mats render Scáthach-Skadi with a proper hyphen. Keeping the equal sign as an equal sign in character names is just stupid, honestly.
