Questions re: CE bombs
It's still better to make CE bombs out of 2* or 1* CE's right? I tried making a 3* one and noticed they still had the limit on accumulated exp (3,599,000 hard cap). Asking just to make sure I don't waste the EXP from the FP gacha.
(Also lol, didn't even start the event, just rolling FP to make CE bombs)

biggest advantage of making 1* CE bomb is the cost
leveling 1* CE costs way cheaper than leveling 5* directly
also you should start the event asap because the rewards are good
Yeah, I know that. But what I meant with my question was should I just continue to make 1*/2* CE bombs rather than a 3* CE bomb, because the accumulated EXP caps on a 3* one where as it doesn't in the case of a 1* one?
Trying it again on another 3* CE bomb did answer my question since it does seem it caps out after all (3.599k), so it is better to make 1* bombs after all, but I figured I might as well ask rather than waste CE's experimenting. Well, I did in the end but eh, we still have Christmas lotto coming up.

43% + 10x2 + 10x2 = 83%
merlin gets 89% and there is his charisma
and someone is getting hit
so basically 2 turn loop is all but guaranteed

alternatively merlin gets ditched for a offensive unit
consider qin who gets 87% atk up from np every 2 turns and takes all the heat for tamamo (himiko does not really care as she is pretty tanky herself)
senpai with BHG could NP spam while enjoying stars, free buster and cd reduction from tamamo
eresh for blessing of kur spam
tomoe could go absolute batshit insane with ignite spam
holmes would be similar to qin except it would kinda be himiko - holmes duet in which they alternate with damage dealing
berserker nobu can pretend to be your merlin while pummeling the enemies
plenty of options really given that youy can go both buster for himiko and arts for tamamo synergy

The Overcharge buff on NP is honestly quite ridiculous when paired with the right units. Before her the Overcharge buff was either added to CEs so you had a limited amount of uses, or added to skills so it wasn't that easy to spam often, usually because of their cooldown. They probably did it this way because some Servants have really powerful OC effects so you couldn't easily use them very often. You could fill it of course, but it's usually not very efficient to wait until 200% or 300% NP (if you can even reach that amount anyway because of NP levels).
But by attaching it to NP, you can end up with ridiculous effects by skipping this annoying requirement, which is a huge difference and can lead to ridiculous NP chains, and the best part is that it's very easy to use often since Himiko has that NP charge and her NP gain isn't bad. We've already seen how powerful the Castoria + Tamamo + Himiko can end up like for example, with very little effort (apart from having the required units of course).

And I went ahead and got my own copy of Himiko as well because this whole overcharge support thing sounds just intriguing enough for me want to have it open as a possibility. I was hesitant at first because I felt like if I got her I would almost never use her (I still have this worry btw) but just in case it does become a thing I've insured myself against it.
Besides it's not like she was difficult to get. She was nice enough to come in only 3 11-shots so it ended up being a very light investment for potentially great gain.

The new node gives spiky balls when max upgraded. Don't think anyone mentioned that yet. So twelve days left, that's 24 spiky balls for no effort.
I wouldn't say "no effort". You're going to have to spend some apples if you want to fully upgrade things, so it kind of begs the question of whether you'd have gotten more for that outside the event. It's also annoying how the timer resets after upgrading since you don't get anything immediately for upgrading.
