The event was hella unoptimized and was a big chore to get done despite the hefty quartz rewards. Sure, they actually managed to optimize it, but that's only a few days before the event's finished. So I made a decision to quit FGO after they released LB4 since it was the LB I was most hyped for. Even to this day, my stomach'd churn when I'm remembering that event.
People I know for years here are also starting to feel the burnout around that time I believe. Like, Altaris quit (and came back I see), McJon MIA, arai MIA, Mizukume MIA, mew MIA, Canon MIA, and so on and so on. It's a natural conclusion for playing the same dull game for 5+ years I guess. I mean, I was so sick of it that I sold off my Day 2 acc. The acc that I put my sweat and blood into, which I kinda regret a bit now since it was an account that I put a lot of love into haha.
I did came back around 2019 a bit last year because of Santa Karna and Muramasa. Got a p decent account from my friend (though it's not as maintained and stacked as my old acc, admittedly), but they killed me again with the Ms. Crane collab for being unhype af, and impossible to finish with natural AP and without full bonus. So I went on a hiatus again, until around New Year. At this point, I saw that they released a Servant named Oberon and they actually implemented a pity after 7 effing years. So right now getting Oberon's the reason I'm playing I guess, and I'm actually motivated to gather quartz and raise my Servants now. Also I got Iskandar on this acc recently haha.
