How mean
Astolfo's interlude provided plenty to illustrate Roland's character despite the (actual) guy himself not present, which is, if you remember, quite outrageous to say the least. But that was years ago, so who knows if they'll retcon that to something more grounded. Though considering Orlando Furioso's writing in general, toning him down might be difficult.

In the off-chance that the swordswoman is Marfisa, it will give fun dialogues between her and Astolfo, and especially Bradamante, which most likely involve Ruggiero. Ranging from their history of fighting each other over him, to her face being a constant reminder of Ruggiero's, to about their adventure with Ruggiero before meeting Charlie.
If it's Marfissa. It would nice to have another conanical muslim character other than the Hassan's. There is one other figure that i would like to see like has connections to charlie and that is Andulisian Sultan. Abd Al Rahman but I am a bit iffy that any of the shilluotes could be him.
