I'm also on the simp side to be honest: I love her and her acting skills are really good so I have no doubt she could pull almost anything including Kriemhild (and it'd give me one more reason to throw my money at her), but the girl has quite a few characters already in the game.
Not to say it's impossible, but I do think they are trying to distance themselves from picking a popular actor and using them for different, unrelated characters as they did at the beginning (like Mamoru Miyano doing Bedi, Sanson and Jekyll) since in the JP fandom that gives kind of a "cheapskate" impression, and the trend right now is "new servant = new popular seiyuu just for this character and nobody else".
I'm all for just letting her rest and enjoy the new shiny ikemen additions this time.

Honestly my first reaction to seeing Aoi was that they want her to react to some of the Servants. Watching her reactions can be pretty entertaining and I'm sure marketing knows that.
I very much prefer this train of thought to the 298372398 iteration of JP matome sites suggesting again that her appearing means Yamanami is getting implemented (yeah I want him too, but it doesn't make any sense rn pls stop??).
