Possibly, on Orlando in Love he performs a bunch of tests to gain the armor of Hector but those tests are rigged because the fairy (she's never named in the story) that gave him the armor wanted a promise out of him that he would get Durandal (The fairy's plan was for Mandricardo to kill Orlando/Roland so she used sex and "heroic deeds" to boost his confidence and get him to swear an oath for the sword while giving him the enchanted armor and stuff). Then in Orlando Furioso he's most famous for NTR Rodomonte by eloping with Rodomonte's fiance, Doralice; killing Roland's friend Zerbino ('cause Ariosto had a thing against happy couples that weren't Bradamante and Ruggiero and that is even debatable); and the duels with the other generals of Agramante where he eventually dies at the hands of Ruggiero.

Saber and Rider should be the best classes for him, and I really don't see much difference between them for the kit he already has.

Should I unlock sus Merlin's NP gauge or anti-Saber append skill? As Pretender the anti-Saber would boost her damage even more, but she's a support so it would be only matter in CQ against Sabers. But does she really need the starting NP gauge when she already has a passive for that?

I'd say the NP Gauge one is better even if it's somewhat useless.

She's not a DPS and unlike Oberon, she doesn't have a damaging NP, so why bother.

Honestly starting with 40% NP gauge is much more useful. Against 3 enemies, you have guaranteed NP, and against 2 her Charisma covers the rest. You can also get away with LB Demonic Bodhisattva which gives her full NP and boosts the stars per turn for the first NP which she definitely benefits from, or just equip a 2030 CE without having to worry too much about starting NP.

The Anti-Saber is okay to unlock second if you have spare coins and you're not planning to 120 her I guess. The Extra is as always very situational and only useful against solo units.

I run a full stall team for CQ pretty much most of the time, so any extra dmg on supports are nice, especially when it is bonus against the classes they already do more dmg against. With Merlin I did not unlock his anti-Berserker and now I kinda regret that. That's why I consider between more situational and the starting gauge.

Honestly if you already have a stall team you really don't need it, at most it can shave away a few turns from the big amount it will take to win.

This is good point. Merlin can't pull this off so that's prob why I didn't feel its impact. I think I'm going with the gauge charge.

Also, I heard that you need to unbind all your existing Google accounts in order for this to work otherwise FGO will just default to them. Is this something one has to do?

When I made my account and added a payment method I did it via Google play on the browser. Used this link:

I then just added my actual payment information and an adrees in the postal code I chose and it all seemed to work once I re-downloaded the game through the Japanese app store.
