Using Valentines as a test doesn't seem completely fair to them, but hey all the more reason.

I will give them a chance and follow until 2.5 is done. If when it finishes we don't immediately get to Marisbury, that will be the final indication that they're far more interested in artificially extending this game's lifespan than giving it a good conclusion, and therefore there won't be much of a point to following it because even if individual chapters end up being good stories, I can just read those on their own and ignore the overarching narrative.
I was gonna say, F/GO isn't a big investment for me anyway since I don't spend money, but the amount of time I spend translating and discussing it does make up a significant portion of my life.
Well, what does it matter. Hopefully the meagre server costs I impose on them is spiteful enough.
...I feel like you could have made this less cringy if you made those extra chapters be inside CHALDEAS instead of such an obvious extension.
Unless...
Spoiler:
the huge delay between 6 and 7 is what finally killed of fgo for me
And I think quite honestly, Servant related stuff in general, since I'm pretty meh towards Einherjar and Requiem.
Also I think the glut of Servants did for it too, all these characters were a lot more interesting when they were just possibilities
I'm on NA, and I recently returned to it after months of hiatus. I'm playing casually now and just hoarding Quartz. I keep up to date with JP's plot, whether I'm playing or not, so it's not an issue. Though it would've been nice if there's a way to bridge NA and JP.
Yesterday, the other mobile game I played, Counter:Side just merged its JP and Global Server. So I'm wondering if FGO could do that to resolve the gap.
Personally, I'm gonna keep playing until End of Service. I'm just having fun.
If it's any consolation, I appreciate the work you and other translators put in the game, it's one of the main reasons I enjoy this game. Same for reading the most interesting theories people come up, like your GUT. I seriously doubt I would have lasted this long without them.
