Pretty much every negative thing they post about FGO leads back to how amazing mihoyo is. Been this way for months now.
And Nikke still has "winter" events, which are seasonal. That's not really any different from "Christmas", other than a lack of Santa. It's the same premise.

Heck, i speak this from someone who has an issue with MHY especially with Genshin, and iirc Lilly knew that Genshin has it's own problem as well

Personally, for a company that is making big bucks like Las, it just shows how lousy their schedule management is when they cannot churn out main storylines AND events properly. However, I think it is the complacent feeling of easy success when they throw out chapters written by fan favorites and making big bucks that lead to the current situation. Either that, or they are so cheap that they don't bother to hire more to manage the game. Giving players content like SQs do not really require the writing team to do much, but nope.
As a player, I think it sucks, and defending them makes no sense unless you are making money from singing praises of them.

After being spoiled by Sengoku Basara Mitsunari, i don't have any high expectation for Fate Mitsunari at all
Same for the others Sengoku Era figures that will come to Fate, if Masamune isn't a westaboo, Yukimra isn't a big loud af Shingen fanboy, or Tadakatsu isn't a BIG FUCKING MECHA then i'll be disappointed lel

The Sakai event had great characters in Iyo and Kokuchihiko but Mitsunari still managed to be the best char of the event, so he's doing pretty well in my book.

Because this forum isn't a "shit on MHY forum". It's a TM forum first and foremost, and I am writing criticisms/suggestions for FGO in a FGO topic. If you've ever seen how much shit I throw at each and every MHY games I played in other places, you would've actually thought I am the biggest MHY hater ever lmao.
Not just Genshin. Few months back I expressed intense disatisfaction about how they fucked up HI3rd part 1 ending in this very forum when talking about how poor writing can destroy the experience of a game's climax, and recently not liking their direction with part 2 main character being yet another self-insert, which in turn got me concerned about FGO future. I did not like how dogshit the Luofu arc was written in HSR and how powercrept happened in character balance. I didn't like most of Genshin lackluster writings and Paimon is the most annoying character I've ever seen. And I do acknowledge FGO's strong points in places such as diverse art direction, strong writing when it happens. If this was a "shit on MHY games topic", GDB will beg me to stop being so cruel to poor MHY.
It feels less like Las trying to break players assumption to try something different thus skipping seasonal events, but more like they aren't able to do it, be it either the writing team's problem, or the gameplay team's problem, or maybe just both. If other games can churn out events and main storyline at the same time, there is no excuse a billion making company like Las can't, so it is either a poor excuse, just plain complacency or they have a messed up schedule.

There's no galaxy-brain play going on; they just can't manage the bare minimum. It's best to treat anything replacing a tradition as a fluke.
Just amused at this fact despite it making so much money. They just don't bother to hire more to deal with the work needed to be done
By this point it's open secret that it's the strength of the IP and the writing that carry this gacha far and wide, despite Lasengle's management.
2's questionable management and ideas for the game also probably contributed. Writers might be occupied with various things in the pipeline but I am in the opinion that they should not rush putting out story contents. I'd take non-story events than events with mid story. Dev team being inadequate is also a problem they obviously are aware of, but looking at their recruitment campaign they're not going to sort things out anytime soon.
I just hope this Gudaguda is good, because it's the only recurring event other than Grail Front that I look forward to every year.
After the previous event 'hyping' up Hideyoshi, and with the short manga (GudaGuda Taikou Legeend ZIPANG) Keikenti had starring him, I'm fairly certain he'll be the 5*... or I hope he will, anyways. Considering ZIPANG ended earlier this summer, seems fitting enough. Does make me wonder if any of the other servants from it might show up, if that's the case...
Speaking of ZIPANG, the compiled manga will be released December 11th, apparently. Timing...........

Regardless of what rarity he is, I NEED them to make child of the sun actually unique. I'm not talking about a skill that ramps up and then wanes, that's boring. Straight up just make him like Friday in GBF or whatever, where he's shit for most of the week but in the middle he's actually busted (I know lore wise is supposed to be over two weeks but that's kinda bad game design). Hell, since skills like sword hunt also change with this transition, they already have the premise for making the skills change or add new effects or whatever depending on the day.
Isn't Hideyoshi become a relative controversial figure recently in japan?
As annoying as it would be to have a servant that's best only on Fridays and sucks the next couple days after, I'd honestly love it if they went with this. Like, fuck it, why not? I'd only hope his physical appearance wouldn't be locked to certain days if that was the case, hah.
Though, more than likely he'll have something similar to Ptolemy I'm thinking.
