Touko was too hasty in her decision to off Soujuurou like that. Most of his limbs can no longer function, he's no longer a threat. She inadvertently pushed Aoko to use Blue out of desperation.

Killing Soujuurou purely out of spite is absolutely the single dumbest decision Touko has made in all her many appearances.

it was a massive error of judgement for Touko not to kill him in the house, i dont think it was a spite kill at all
it seemed to me like Touko admitting fault and correcting her obvious mistake, though late and in a pointless fasion

I'm thinking he's built different enough to stay around a little longer, despite the injuries. Maybe Yuika's treatment could save him.

Shiki's glasses are stated to be borderline indestructible. And Aoko mentioned she added something to them, but we never knew what exactly. It would make sense if she sent the death of the glasses into the far future.

She doesn't like Aoko having things she doesn't have herself, which is why she invited Soujuurou to live in her goon cave. I think the decision to kill him might've been influenced by that too. I'm surprised she doesnt have a Walmart brand Alice to hang out with her.

I don't see Shirou as anything but a martyr for his ideals, but Nasu can write HF where he gives up everything for Sakura.

So I won't be surprise if Sono-G ends up with Alice and pass away naturally, or Aoko is just sour about this and choose to stay single from then on.

Absolutely. Take a look at our main trio. What defines them, what they want, and how they connect to each other.

Aoko is a perfectionist with a huge sense of responsibility. Had magic and never used it for almost 2 years because she takes personal responsibility that seriously. She tries to kill Soujuurou because she's a strong believer in cleaning up her own mess, but then she saves her life, leaving her morally obliged to keep him, and their relationship until it reaches the point where she breaks her self-imposed taboo on magic to irresponsibly revive him. A rash that gets immediately called out by Touko and that Aoko will spend her immediate future trying to solve.

Alice is a girl who clings intensely to everything she has because she lost so much on a personal level and lives through her identity as a witch, which is a race that also lost so much with the changing times. In getting to know Soujuurou, she found someone she didn't want to lose. Aoko, however, is a best friend she fought to the death before and believes they'll inevitably fight to the death again.

And Soujuurou is an upstanding guy who wants nothing more than to adapt to a world he still doesn't know. He's honest and principled, refusing unfair advantages to the point that his first reaction to being revived is to try to die again because it's not right that he can die and come back. He needed Alice to warn him that it would be a waste of time to stop him from committing the act without a second thought.

So imagine what happens if Soujuurou is fatally injured again. He'll come back alright. He can't die from that because he's only fated to die in the year 1651651236615635651 or something like that. It's just like how Ciel can't die because she's Roa and Roa is proven alive. The world doesn't let this contradicting go through. Soujuurou won't be happy with the discovery. He will ask Aoko to let him be normal and die when he should. Aoko's sense of responsibility would force her to agree. Alice would be violent against it. Aoko vs Alice finale. Aoko wins and Soujuurou's wishes are respected. The end.

Soujuurou needs to die in 1990. It's the natural payoff Mahoyo built itself to.

I mean i dont mind if he dies as long as its set up properly but i havent really gotten the "dying is how his story end" vibe whatsoever. The part with him trying to kill himself as well struck me as weird, did the TL fuck that up too? Cause i dont remember it explaining why he did that.

Characters with "dying is a fitting end" for me are like enjou, kiritsugu, that albino soujuuro look alike from fragments, illya. But not soujuuro, not yet anyway

That last wave is nightmarish lol. I tried something similar and didn't make it past the second bar, if you ever hit her with a quick card at all she regens the last 5-10 turns of damage.

Can you resurrect using command spells? I didn't try that because I was forced to use one on the Caenis battle so I didn't have the chance with Olga's battle.

I doubt it. What Aoko did to Soujuurou is framed as a huge mistake due to entropy and heat-death, one that Aoko will meed to correct in the future. I'm sure she wouldn't do the same thing to something else.
