I was in a good mood until I opened BL and boredom started eating me from the inside. It is contagious.I need Extra or something...
i dont really get 86 dickriding either, i liked it but purely for very cute MC + scenes of suffering while sawano goes hard, the story was shit
which was a bit of a letdown, because there was definitely potential there

Nah, no one has tried peddling Naruto Academia Shippuden or microwaved Cleaning Product, so all is still right in the world for the most part.
Petri's arbitrary limit
While Frieren is a solid show, it was never able to get me emotionally invested even though it tackles idea's that a should hit home for me, may it be the regret to have missed out to fully know a person, the struggles of having a bad self image or just how fleeting mortality is.
It's also pure torture to watch as a German dyslexic
Frieren gets more standard shoneny as it goes on, like the whole First Class Mage Exam arc is something right from a battle shonen. Feels like the mangaka had a good premise but didn't know how to extend it into a full manga, so ended up falling back on pretty standard things.

Also the constant Himmel flashbacks are annoying, you don't need to connect every single thing to the past.

And for my last trick, Fern and Stark are good individually but them being shipped together feels forced.
as in the people in the thread other than you
Kriemhild's tongue piercing is not sexy. It makes me feel no feelings of an almost human nature whatsoever. This tongue piercing must be the tongue piercing that will enter the list of tongue piercings that I don't like. Nuh uh, very icky, no good. Your body was given to you by divine grace and yet you mutilate it? May God have mercy upon your soul, for I will not.
Though Frieren lost me pretty early in. Wish it's popularity had gone to Yatagarasu instead
Frieren's demon problem is one that's relatively straightforward yet also one that insists on engaging with severely. Which is that demons kind of suck intrinsically and even when they make the motions of understanding humanity, it's ultimately a failed venture that will just kill everyone else in the long run to achieve any peaceful resolution so Frieren is fine for just wanting to murder the hell out of them. This is would be fine if we didn't keep circling back to it just to go "Yup, we really do need to get rid of all of them" and where I had already lost my patience with it very very early on when they decided to dedicate an entire episode to just have Frieren and her teacher repeat how hiding magic is a blasphemy on magic but ya gotta do what ya gotta do to murder demons like 5 times
I read both the manga and watched the anime yes, though I dropped the manga both out of lack of interest and because the author's art makes everyone look so deadpan that Frieren ironically ends up being one of the more emotive characters (anime fixed this with the character acting though)
