Really ? I just feel like Karna was a bit more sarcastic or snarky in CCC but I thought that was mainly because of Jinako. In Apo he was a bit more serious but overall I still feel like it's the same Karna.

If I remembered correctly, he is much more aggresive in Apo 1 when compared to CCC where he views Xavier as an enemy. The CCC personality comes in after Apo 1.

It's a small sample size indeed. You got lucky in the 30 AP or unlucky in the 40 AP. There is at least 1 gold spawn (center of the 2nd wave) that will drop a guaranteed red chest in the 40 AP, ie. if he/she spawns (which seems to be 20-30% of the time). Also, gold spawns in 40 AP do not drop silver chests while gold spawns in 30 AP do. In the 40 AP, you only get silver chests from silver spawns (red gem or mat) or bronze spawns (blue gem or mat). This is just a guess based on my past drop experience, but I reckoned in the drop table, the red chest range in the 40 AP is equivalent to the 'red + silver chest' range in the 30 AP for gold spawns.

edit: also I just noticed this, but it's really unfair to compare different number of trials for the 30/40 AP?

I tried comparing based on similar amounts of ap but a level up screwed that up a little I tried to compensate with an extra apple but it still ended up a little different. I think it was more the unlucky with 40 ap than lucky with the 30 ap based on the number of mat drops and the number of shadow servants ending up in the guarantied drop spot. Theres a reason pretty much the only thing with more drops in the 40 ap quest was void essences.

yeah same. He is never malicious with his word. In Apoc he is more like just pointing out people's nature instead of actually trying to give some advice (in a way that would piss them off) like to Jinako so I guess that's a difference. And I think Higashide is not really good at giving character depth and development, unlike Nasu.

I would have had a lot more data if I decided to do that at the start instead of the last 3 days but still the conclusion I drew from it was that the extra quests you can do with the lower cost will result in more resources including the rare kinds than farming the 40 ap quest will... unless you want to buy quartz to farm with for some reason.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Sieg is boring. At least pair her with someone more interesting, or don't pair her with anyone at all.

i liked that, it was related to Jeane in some way and the way it developed was very nice but no spoilers from me... but it gave depth so some characters and we get to know Jeane better after that and Vlad as well, the moral confrontation between them its very nice

Siegfried is to strong. He walking with Armor of Fafnir is basically a Gary Sue. It not really fun to read something that the villains spent their entire time to hit his back.

That would be too much since they have already taken most of the screentime. I wouldn't mind for Siegfried as MC though.

He's not the strongest servants in the war. Idk why being strong makes a bad protagonist. It's up to the author to make a protagonist interesting and convincing

With Karna and Achilles around, it wouldn't be too much though. I think it is not enough even, especially since Karna's regular attack is about the same power as Balmung's true name unleash and all Siegfried have is his armor to fight a war of attrition with Karna.
