So I stubbornly refused to max Anne Bonny & Mary Read for over a month in hopes that I'd get another golden Rider, preferably Drake or at the very least Marie. (That sounds pretentious when I say it, doesn't it?)

Eventually after said month I grew attached to the pirate pair and decided to max them since I liked how they performed. So I did. (Well, almost, still need last ascension).

Then the event came and I tried to roll four tickets and 20 quartz for Gil or a NP lvl 2 on Saber.


Around the 5th roll, the spinning stars turned golden. A giant grin showed on my face, expecting the golden servant to be Gil.

It was Marie.
