Look at it another way, it's a 5% Def Up and a delayed/early 1000-3000 Damage Cut. Back in the early days, that's actually insane!


EDIT: The insane part is the Damage Cut-esque portion by the way.

I love using my Jeanne and all, but I wouldn't say no to like a tiny attack buff on her NP.

Jeanne is still viable. In the obvious absence of Invulnerability-nullifying effects, Jeanne can ensure full team survivability for one turn. On top of that, her stun's very useful against Servant bosses.

Besides, the Def portion was never the reason I run Jeanne.

I use Jeanne for her tank capabilities, so I still field her when enemies can ignore defense buff.

It was never the reason any one ran Jeanne so why would you make that the part that gets buffed

To make it another reason why she's there as your defensive support. Def Up buff and Damage Cut bonus makes her heal more potent as effective HP is usually scaled that way. Plus, enemies doing damage past Invulnerability gets properly weakened so her goal in protecting her teammates is strengthened. It's pretty clear that my idea is to reinforce her design as a defensive support role.

Oh, and it makes her second skill more viable. Viability is good, right? Just a change in her Def portion of her NP can make even her useless second skill more viable, it's amazing.
