I am admittedly a bit disappointed that they took the Christmas event down, given that they didn't replace it with anything. On the other hand, this is the first time in ages there's been literally nothing going on, even a rate up, so I'm just going to take it as a burnout prevention break.

Yeah, agreed. Right now I'm guessing New Years event or campaign of some kind, and then London.
In the meantime... I'll collect login bonuses, do some interludes, hit a daily or two for mana prisms, and generally decompress. Honestly... at this point, I wouldn't know what to do with more experience cards even if I got them.

I'm glad we have some time to take a break. It has been events coming right after another and is quite tiring although the story is fun. Besides, DW knows that players need time to recover from the loss of money from hoarding on Okita, Scatha and Jack so maybe the next event news will comes at Monday. They need their rest too.
They're re-releasing gold stars that were already in Christmas for London so it won't be too bad I think.

I did take Nobu and Okita to decent levels, but those last 20 levels will take quite a bit of cards; also have D'eon and Martha and quite a bit of silver/bronze Servants I want to level up.
So yeah, I still need exp cards.
EDIT: They should also add a function to skip all animations when getting the cards from the present box, seriously

Still no Irishmen ;__;
I rolled over 110k FP yesterday, and all I wanted was Fergus and my final Leylines CE.
Instead I got like, 3 Boudiccas, 3 blue keys, 3 boat CEs, more Medusa, Ushiwakamary, Proto Cu, ROMA...
I'm not sure it's possible to have too many experience cards anyway.
In my case, once I get Marie her last level, I don't have any more gold servants, or favorites among the bronze-silver crowd, that I can use them on until I get more gears/talons/etc... so not much point in grinding for them unless I'm bored, but if someone dumped a bunch of them on me, I'd just give them to 1 stars or something.
And yes, please, we desperately need a skip. Desperately.
