Why in the world would a free Servant crash the servers?

Waver sucked before he was buffed. It wasnt only about his skills, but also about his very chance-based not really strong NP. He just didnt pack enough for 5* support caster before.

And its one thing to have strong support skill. I'm mostly just pointing out how stupid is to have targeted 30% attack up lvl1 skill which has 8t cd while the most powerful self-target attack buffs of some most offensive-oriented servants in the game have 30% at level 10. This is pure powercreep in my opinion: take someone else's skill (5* no less), swap secondary effect (arguably nerf but not neccesary), make main effect two times stronger and make the skill targetable. Waver is at least unique at what he does: charging everyone's gauges. Medea Lily is also very unique at only healing skills (which also her drawback).

Tamamo with targeted 30% Arts Up for 3 turns and 7 turn CD. Waver with party 20% Atk Up and +200 Damage Up for 3 turns as well as 10% NP Charge and 8 turn CD. You were saying? Like I said, supports have strong skills for a reason. To support. If they do as well as a non-support skill, then they are technically useless.

BTW, some offensive Servants like Atalante have party 30% Quick Up for 1 turn and 7 turns CD while Scathach has targeted 30% Quick Up for 1 turn and 8 turns CD. Do you cry underpowered instead?


As for uniqueness, Nero Bride is unique in that she's an offensive support. She has BBAAQ cards which means that she does as much damage as would any regular Saber. On top of that, her NP does damage immediately and over time along with a 5 turn 20~40% Def Down for the team to capitalise on. Still not good enough?

There's no time restriction, so why would they log on at the same time to get it as fast as possible?

Servers die because: time restricted stuff (see Halloween), new Servants that people reroll en masse for (Scathach), or both (Nero Bride).

Atalanta is not a power creep. Shakespear and Mozart are a thing since day one.

My point is high value attack buffs are pretty rare and seeing how we disagree on what is a good support skill and what is powecreep i'm not inclined to continue.

Crossing Arcadia is Atalanta's one good skill, so she being a 4*, it better be damn good.

Edit: on Atalanta, Crossing Arcadia + Jack special does a crap lot of damage, quick single target specials are where the fun is

That's because it's never been done before. Purely attack buffs are not occasionally powerful but instead always powerful since they affect all 3 types of cards. Also, it's not like it goes up to 50% Atk Up buff (which I should have pointed out actually) where that is actually around the breaking point of what is strong and what is overpowered (heck, I think reaching 45% max is already at the breaking point). I'm just gonna put it here that I see her skills as a 'poor man's easy access to strong support skills early' rather than 'highly overpowered skills that break the meta'.
