Fortunately I brought Ann and Mary so needless to say Tamamo didn't last long and the rest died easily enough after. Turns out Jack works very, very well with them given they're skill set.

I just bring my 5* smash team in the front row now and don't worry too much about making a specific event comp since I'm running 5 Mashu CEs now anyway.
Depends. Jack can be killed easily by Tamamo, Drake makes short work of Tamamo and Jack rips Drake apart easily, so 5* isn't that good as you might get smashed instead.

Yep. EoTM and Guts gives Herk enough time to finish off the weakened boss. However, I lack the +5 CE, so Mashu is still in my team. Just finished buying off all mats other than pieces and monuments. Now moving onto them and shooting for Fou and exp later. Too bad I gotta sleep now, and 4 Calvary quests is so much better than knights since there is no dragon to worry about, and Rider up is easier if you have a Jack or Jack friend.
