Uhm, 6x 140 quartz 1x 36 quartz. Never bothered to check how that adds up, considering I have 300 of that still saved I guess I'm pretty good actually.

Not really. $100 per 5* is already A rank luck. $300 per 5* is the expected expenditure.

edit: not sure what currency we are talking here, but I assume $100 gives you a 140 pack and thus 35 rolls.

Point to take here: People will not spend a single cent for gatcha money for a period of time because they can roll 50x 10-rolls and 4x 1 roll worth of quartz for free. On top of that, the restricted value of quartz as a means to tempt players to spend a bit more would vanish. Some would save for specific Servants which means they are more likely to not spend even more money. There'll be a major drop in financial income especially on the smaller spending players. The whales who gatcha every event will actually be slightly less affected but whales generally account for a minuscule size of the entire player population.

You're conflating the idea of money with profits, and that quartz would still have no monetary value.

You need both big whales, but at the same time attract occasional spenders to keep the game healthy, so they will just give enough to do 2 to 3 10 rolls as bait and get people to spend more.

Unless they decide to remove all gold CE and servants from the regualr gatcha, people can still choose not to use the paid one since getting a 50x chance to do 10 rolls is better than 1 ten roll which give 1 5* servant for sure.

I doubt it'll always be in paid quartz. Maybe limited Servants, yes. But stuff like Story gatcha updates or new Servants added to the gatcha pool will eventually be placed into the 'free quartz' category. So, unless they make Paid Gatcha have a higher rate of getting 5*s and 4* Servants, people will most probably still not roll for it (because we get less paid quartz than bought total thus further reducing the chance to get those specific limited Servants).
