Eh, I think it's still doable. There're more niche uses and builds that she can fit in than just as a slightly better Berserker against Cavalry classes or anti-Foreigner with weaker NP attack (cause AoE rather than ST).

I'm still trying to understand what is so OP about this. So you use Merlin to get her to last for 10 rounds and then (after blocking one NP with Illusion, I presume) the second NP wipes the entire party save for KP or, if it's an ST NP, you hope RNG chooses her to get targeted? It does make her a better soloer and the AoE NP is a good attribute to have in the right sort of situation but this doesn't seem gamebreaking to me.

It's just that, I foresee her initial phase being entirely focused around supported survival into actually tanking NPs with the NP Damage Resistance. If we're talking beat case, it'll be against those 5 bar classes. But at that point, yes QSH is always better. The worst case is that you're gonna face 3-bar enemies. At that point, I dunno if QSH is better. I don't have him nor am interested to roll him just to find out.
At the very least, AoE NPs will tickle Kingprotea so you could use your emergency Dodge/Evade on someone else.

KP can now facetank a 250k nuke to the face thanks to ridiculous 80% NP resist.
Let's say I use Meltvirus on NP turn. Now she can facetank 500k NP. And if I ramp it up and use Nightingale's NP instead, KP now can shrug off a one freaking million nuke.
Is that an unplausible scenario? Yeah, kinda. But running approximations like that is fun. Even if I'd never use KP to facetank Beast I's nuke for me.
So, who can FTK 2 million HP Kingprotea?

My only options are 2 million+ with Xiang Yu on turn 1... or 2.5 million+ with Hijikata on turn 2. And I'm not confident on Hijikata getting those millions...

Team was Merlin (Carp)/Support Merlin (Carp)/Chen Gong (bond CE)/Kintoki (Black Grail)
Ended up having to slap the Ishtar Buster Command Code on Kintoki to seal the deal, but after that it was just a matter of getting the hand I needed.
BIG SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO RAFF for his Merlin. Literally the only one around reeeeee! Fishing for him on support ended up being the most difficult part.
My Merlin had a fish on him too.
Do you have him on your event support tho? It seems this thing is going off your regular support and not your event list because DW is intelligent and hunting quests=totally an event and CCC=totally not an event.

Last year was pretty tough, but the number of Servants that can do it have gone up thanks to Chen Gong existing for Berserkers now. Arts can't do it, and Quick can only do it with MHXA from what I remember.
lvl 100 BHG np5 summer nobu still fell 60-70k hp short (this is karma for skimping and leaving her first skill at 9 isn't it)
so I just used a second CS
In about 20 tries, I only got a double buster opening hand twice
Last year, all the Servants that could OTKO require level 100, 2k Attack Four, and NP4-5 if you're aiming to use NPs, assuming you used Versus or Fondant. Herk and Caligula were the only ones that could BBB crit chain down Kingprotea.
Things have gotten easier this year thanks to Carmilla (Rider) and Chen Gong being added.
summer nobu has attribute disadvantage so if not grailed she'll likely fail
