... Am I the only one thinking that he's better of using Koyanskaya as support instead? Since Koyanskaya does everything he needs to continue the snowball, outside of initial NP damage and Arts damage. Buster card NP charge, extended star attraction, Buster Card Up, Cooldown Reduction, etc. You can sustain his crit performance just through double Koyanskaya. Admittedly, Merlin gives a better one-turn burst with minor all-round boost and solid sustained stars-per-turn but you need to use his NP to keep the stars flowing whereas Koyanskaya just makes it happen with only skills.

Interesting strategy, though Vitch's lack of defense in any way makes it less appealing option than with Merlin, and you know Saberlot's survivability. I only use Hans, paired with a support and he's already so good.

True. The build's more useful for high HP regular content clearing than hard challenge quests and extremely difficult boss fights. Even then, people'd probably prefer to just 3-turn those regular content than slowly slam through the enemies.

Which is what I suspect Vitch was designed for; a farming support for Buster teams, whereas Merlin is a CQ support for them. Of course, you can solve that with Taunt CEs, so long the enemy doesn't have AoE attack like giant Dragons and Hydras.

Thanks. Well, I just happened to be overloaded with EXPs, so it won't be long for him to hit max Ascension. But his skills will have to wait to be maxed since I'm currently in Lore hell.
