Finally a Foreigner design that I like. Not a fan of Nasuverse interpretation of Lovecraft, and MHXX isn't really a real Foreigner.

On the normal skill upgrade menu the three skills are spaced out. On the append skill upgrade menu the three skills aren't spaced out, leaving space for two more. Either an UI oversight or we're aren't done with things needing servants coins.

When Kanou said the coin system is just a baseline we thought he meant we might get more coins in other ways. Turns out we just will have to spend more coins instead.

What do you mean with spaced out? I'm not seeing whst you're mentioning.

These three skills fill up rectangle that they are in(spaced out).


These three skills don't fill out the rectangle that they are in, and thus there is empty space in the right of the rectangle.

The easiest option is to make said append skill cost the Bond CE itself. You consume the Bond CE which will free up inventory space, while obtaining the passive skill of that Bond CE.

With stuff like Mask of Warrior, I'm also leaning to the idea that Bond CEs will be able to be turned into a passive. By nature, it's just a 30% NP Damage Up and the On-Guts trigger is really not that great.

They didn't change anything. It was like that from the start.

No, I mean they could've copy pasted the normal skill upgrade UI when implementing appends, but made a new one for append skills specifically, that just so happens to have two open spaces. It's suspicious indeed but Lasengle works in mysterious ways and I wouldn't be surprised if it meant nothing, solely because it's them we're talking about.

Ah, that. I'm pretty sure they're hinting at new Appends really hard. It's hard not to think that way when it's easier for them to make room early so they can add more Appends to do specific stuffs. After all, Append 1~3 is very generic. Append 3 has a bit more uniqueness but most of the Servants just have it work the same way as an Anti-Class Atk Up or Anti-Class Crit Chance Resistance. I was expecting them to make new Appends that are tailor-made for that one Servant in the future then release them in batches. Think of it as Strengthening Quests update but Append version.

EDIT: Admittedly, here we are a year and a half in and still no signs of new Appends. Even my excitement for new Appends have been washed away by time. We'll see what Anni 2023 brings. Otherwise, what we have is what it is.

Also, we're at 11 Foreigners, and not a single one is low rarity or permanent, the closest we got to an easy access one was free MHXA and she sucks.

Voyager is also the only boy Foreigner, even counting Foreigners outside GO (which I think is just Euclid).

Idol Alter doesn't suck. She may have mediocre buffs but, at the end of the day, she has pretty decent buff totals (50% Quick Up and 20% Atk Up) and her Append 3 is Anti-Zerker which aligns with her class counter very well.

I don't think there's any Foreigner that she is better than, except maybe maybe the Abigails, so she automatically sucks in my book, you can pick any other Foreigner and have better results.
