RNG is part of what makes combat unpredictable. Dealing with the unpredictable is a way of adding difficulty without forcing the enemy to shut down every action you can do.

If you wanna circumvent the starting situation by restarting, you're paying the price of losing EN to eventually get that "golden start" that you want.

I think you mean "practice mode" but it makes no sense to have RNG seeds predetermined. You're not practicing to get better at the game, you're still trying to game the system.


EDIT: Maybe I don't get it but what's so fun about having every part of the game going the way you want? Isn't it the fastest way to be bored of the game/combat/battle? You know what you'll get, you know what's gonna happen and you just nuke the enemy anyways, ignoring any potential problems along the way. Is it really fun that way? Or is it just for flexing purposes?

Because a lot of people who play this game actually just want the dopamine of hitting really large numbers or min turn stuff. Having to reset constantly for RNG doesn't add anything, so if you just wanted to see a certain scenario play out, you don't have to sit around for 40 minutes of slow loading times. I don't see how it in any way correlates to getting bored of the game if it's just it's own isolated practice game mode rather than a replacement for the existing content.
