There's no way it comes out while the trilogy "recap" is still up. They wouldn't miss that chance to postpone content more.

The first chapter of the recap already contradicts this. The trilogy goes until the 31st, but the extra copies of Caster Eliza are on the October event's shop.
The trilogy recap lasts until the end of October and the pop up after obtaining CasLiz states Halloween is coming in October. Likely, it's up so people don't miss that first copy since the new event will have the rest of the copies you need for NP5.

To be clear, they announced two new events, right? One in October that is the new Halloween and another in November that requires 5.5. Presumably it's not one event that starts in October, ends in November and thus counts as both the October and November event.
I thinking about what the rest of the year is going to look like. October ends along with the new Halloween. The November starts with the 5.5 required event. After that there doesn't seem to be much time left for GUDAGUDA rerun, new GUDAGUDA, Christmas rerun, and new Christmas. One of these three possibilities becomes likely: new GUDAGUDA will be the event that requires 5.5, we miss a rerun this year like what happened to Santa Quetz, or there isn't a new GUDA or Christmas, that is we got Halloween back at the cost of another welfare giving event. Assuming all three possibilities don't come true, Case files rerun wouldn't be this year.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this Halloween event starts next week, seeing as the last day of this rerun is October 31st. They will probably start it on Wednesday like they always do with events, and make it last until the end of October.

Or something akin to that. I believe either Guda5 or Case Files, whichever isn't rerun, will be pushed to next year along with Guda6 (assuming Guda6 was even intended to run this year).
For collabs, what's the longest time between original run and rerun? Case files might be breaking a new record.
