From personal preference, I care more about the support having the event CE than the particular servant being better damage wise, unless its for farming strat or for the challenge quest

Old Li, but it's not like people are going to go out of their way to use an Assassin much this event.

Old Li gets 50% damage aapu (Izou 80%). So I personally think it's better to set Old Li as support.
