Hokusai gets a skill upgrade, her third skill also gives her star absorb to Arts cards 300-500% for 3 turns and 5-15 star bomb. I suppose it helps her have a bit easier time to build up NP since it makes her Arts crit more often which is basically the only thing she can use to get NP apart from her first skill.
Chiyome gets NP upgrade, apart from damage she gets a curse multiplier like Dantes. Knowing her curse gimmick it may be fun to experiment with I guess.
Overall, none of the extra effects are particularly impactful, though the extra NP damage for Chiyome was definitely needed.
Edit: The hunting quests got datamined apparently, so we already know what we will get.

Since he's arriving on NA in a bit, I have a question about using Chen Gong.
I've heard that his overcharge additional damage thing only procs if the target isn't killed by the normal damage first, and it would double his NP hits. Is it true? Wouldn't that mean that a non-grailed Gong would be better than a grailed one if you're relying on OC, for example via the Amakusa CE?
It's better for refund, certainly but grailed is still better because it's simply more damage. If you're at OC 1 (which you often are when farming) then you aren't actually getting any extra damage so if your OC procs then then it will mean that something(s) has survived potentially messing up your clear.

Well damn, it completely slipped my mind that these hunting quests had missions that granted silver/gold apples for completing 1 each day. Missed out on all the silver apples, but should be able to get the golds.
Wonder which outfits we'll get tomorrow. Hoping Tamamo Cat, Ushi, and Euryale end up getting something since I don't particularly care about the others that had outfits for Mashu in Waltz. Original Jeanne will probably get one.

So today we have had tamacat and euryale. They seem really low effort to me (tamacat has even the same pose).
Euryale's already seems lazy design wise but what happened to her face?
Wada tends to give new costumes using already existing pose of characters in question, so it's not that surprising really. It's apparent when looking at Nero, Gawain, and Robin before Tamacat.
You say that but Nero's two costumes and Robin Hood's costume are unique with their own special poses. The main thing here is that they're special. Not just some random add-on/removal like Old Li's sunglasses removal and some such.
So yes, Tamamo Cat having the same pose feels like it has less effort put into it.

I'm only annoyed by Tamamo Cat's outfit because it's NOTHING like what it was in Waltz. Waltz actually had a really classy and cute styled dress that fit the image of Tamamo Cat. The collab gives her... an old timey drive in waitress outfit?
Like, what's even the point of making the costume for a Waltz collab if the only connection is the character wearing it?
Today's costumes were really low effort (not in that they look bad or anything but they definitely didn't go all out on them). I guess you can't expect them all to be winners but whatever. Maybe the new dialogue they get with the costumes can breathe some personality into them.
It's going to take TREMENDOUS effort to top Tamamo Cat's current dialogue. And if they half ass the costume this much, I expect literally nothing of value from any dialogue she gets.
Only hope remaining is Ishtar and Shuten getting good costumes, but after today's reveal I kind of just lost any hope in this collab not being shit.
I rather like Euryale's actually.
I guess it fits Cat's personality to dress weird for a waltz but I'm not a fan.
