Nope.
Though Van Gogh benefits from being cursed and cannot die from curse damage, so in this case it's a demerit for Faker, unlike with Van Gogh who benefits from this. But hey, that's how this skill is meant to work after all.

They both love Iskandar, the difference is that Waver is super uncritical of him, while Faker can recognize stupidity when she sees it.
Pity is a one-time thing every gacha, no rollover to a later gacha with same rate ups outside the initial time period.
More specifically, as long as the counter towards the pity reset, your eligibility to use pity also reset, as far as I understand it. Which would mean that since the counter resets on like daily rate-ups for rotating banners, you could theoretically spark on every rotation in one single "banner".
