I do appreciate the number of lores we got, but we still don't get enough grails. If they have no intention to give more than that, they should at least offer grail refund and decrease the cost of grailing units so you need less per Servant.

Oh no. I do accept that needing to roll dupes to get to 120 and unlock all 3 Append skills is poor design. And that you need a total of 15 grails to go from 90 to 120. That being said, both the append skill and lvl 101~120 feels more like a bonus feature that shouldn't affect your day-to-day unless you got someone you really wanna show off as 120. And since it's not mandatory, you might as well just jump through the hoops if that's your goal.
EDIT: Heck, even if you think Append skills are necessary, the only one that fits the bill is the starting NP gauge skill. Which is easily doable by just building up affection.

I'm aware that raising units to level 120 and unlock all append skills is just for fun and not really necessary, but the unfortunate reality is that we all have some units we want to fully max for fun, so this needless limitation of coins suck.
But hey, classic and stupid DW still adding new systems but limiting them for stupid reasons. Remember the CC system forcing you to use keys to remove CCs, which everybody on day 1 thought it was stupid, and it took 2 years to change as an anniversary "reward"? This is what's going to happen for coins unfortunately.

Broke down and bought a pack. RP Anne & Mary, NP1 Caenis (Rider), and NP1 Nagiko (Berserker). Was kind of hoping for a NP2 Kama (Avenger) but I'll take this as the amount of paid quartz I have left now tides me over for another 3 paid gacha.
Haven't looked too much at them, but I want to say that Nagiko is comparable to Lanceot for Skadi looping.Never mind, she's ST, not AoE. Pretty comparable to MHXA though.

And between getting Sei (Berserker) + Caenis (Rider) while leveling skills for Kama (Avenger) to 9/9/10, I'm out of QP for the first time in years. Going to keep farming that 90+ spot though, can at least get some QP from converting currency to QP.
I remembered to listen to birthday lines today. I can pat myself on the back for that
