last 5 turn was literally Boomelancer - Spinning Assault Blue Lancer

in a hindsight using Avicebron with taunt CE is probably better than George with his bond CE
the mooks with important buffs being the one with the thickest HP doesnt help
i guess if you remove the selfdamaging gimmick this would basically simply DaV CQ but MHXA, but i wouldve like more effective options other than stalling

also i wonder, does equipping the damage CE make things easier in a stall base quest like this?
i thought it would for killing the mooks, but mhxa self おやつ buffs is already ridiculous to begin with

Last year CQ was more fun than this year tbh. It's dumb because I've to bring out Jeanne in most of them.

Break her first bar, stall for 16 turns while praying to net get 1hit ko, after that she loses 2M hp each turn which means you need to survive ~5 turns (or more, if the mook happens to heal her)

the last tick always leaves her at 1hp

my test run on alt ended because i didnt break her early and was left with 15 more turns of stalling after all the mobs
now i'm restarting with damage ce hokusai
turn 1 hokusai brave chain kills mobs and breaks MHXA
Hokusai eats 2 hits with dodge
3rd hit is a crit which deletes skadi
turn 1
cant imagine how bullshit gil quest will be

I rather fight Demifiend in DDS 100 times than dealing with this dumb design. At least the RNG in SMT are all bullshit by default.

go for dodge/invul based stall, not def based

that 450k door? odds are you wont kill it unless you fullbuff yourself with merlin and shit on that particular turn and also make sure to have crit brave chain

Eh, I was using NP3 Sane Lancelot and he can kill the doors easily.

EDIT: That said, crit buff is definitely insane. The Star Per Turn buff? Not so much. Still good though.

Also, can't remember which mook grants Crit Damage Down. That one's a definite "leave up for X Alter to consume".

Not sure what defense ups do if she just one shots you through 4 stacks of them like they're not even there

they dont do anything because she has own unremovable attack ups
remember that atk and def cancel each other out
so assuming she has 50% atk up at all times (and casts her own occasionally) you need 50% def to just bring her damage to normal level of 5-6k atk per attack without crits / additional attack ups

Maybe I should use Ryuutan and slap her with attack debuffs. Hopefully its possible to regulate the damage alongsid defense buffs.

I am now 100% certified to become the Manager of Buffs and Debuffs. Hire me people (CS were wasted for the previous run as usual). Maybe I'm destined to lose if I use CS or something. And Merlin has 100% rate of death by crits in all my runs. Poor guy.
