Actually, Magical Sapphire is great for looping if you happen to LB it
in its absence, Little Devil is second best thing (or the first depending whether you want 5% np rate up or 10% starting charge if LD is lb)

wouldn't Dive to Blue CE be actually better, you might lose 1000ATK but you get 10% Arts and 10% NP dmg up

1000 atk > 10 np dmg up

Hokusai Summer CE with 10 NP Rate and 10 Arts is the best for NP gain bonus (after Sapphire and Devil), and it is worth sacrificing 1k atk to hit 100% np more consistently

i've been experimenting with musashit on my alt with Hokusai summer
she could do assassin daily but not berserker daily
which is fine i guess
she should be reliable against good classes at the very least

Christmas Trail doesn't boost np dmg at all (no arts, np, or str up), and from my small calc Dive to Blue seems better

also, depending on total ATK, there is case where 10 NP dmg up > 1000 atk; feels like if you total ATK is above 10000, then NP dmg up should be better (11000 atk vs 10000atk with 10NP dmg up)

would have to check the exact formula for np dmg, to be sure

its depends on number of np up which is already in place
for musashit with tamamo its pretty close but in favor of 10np
if more np atk is better
i usually err on behalf of atk anyway because its USUALLY better since its direct multiplier regardless

since christmas trail indeed does not boost any offence other than through bonus atk Painting Summer is better for max np refund overall (probably)
since damage difference is not as important as landing or not landing 100% after np

lil tip but with the Souichirou CE (40% Arts up for 3 turns) you can loop Berserkers with Musashi. Sadly, it too is mixed stats.

Btw, is it me, or is Saber Artoria's new buff a bit inconvenient in some situations?

I mean, in terms of damage, it's perfect. But I wish you had some control over if you want to change your cards or not. Because if I end up in a situation in which I benefit more from an NPAA and I need her Mana Burst, if the cards are switched then I lose all that NP gauge that I could have gotten with overkill.

It's minor, I know, but I wish the game wouldn't force me to lose the Arts cards, I would rather have the option to choose it.

i'm not talking about double castoria now, i'm using Tamamo Castoria for cheap fast 3 turn clears

So far my apparent options are Musashit, Loli Vinci (who is on road to get lvl100 since she is viable now) and Summer Jeanne (and my own Da Vinci Caster)
Musashit at np1 outdamages both Loli Vinci and Jeanne, but Jeanne by farm has the most NP its disgusting
i could probably actually Nero Bride with Summer Jeanne if i had one - brb - testing
Alright summer jeanne with bride and bhg is just disgusting. she came up 3% short on wave 2 on berserker node but thats whatever, the damage is so good

Da Vinci Caster at 4 turns does 169k avg neutral damage, which is close to 170k+ that my Fran teams output
Musashit at NP1 does 135k neutral with Little Devil
Summer Jeanne does 111k neutral with Tamamo and 142k with Bride/BHG setup
Da Vinci Rider with Tamamo and Little Devil is 123k at lvl90

Berserker Musashi is disgustingly good now

Summer Bryn's sword looks vaguely like Balmung. I hope they don't do some syncing thing with Kriemhild, because I want the actual Kriemhild wielding darkened Balmuing someday.
