But this is exactly what I told Nikiri yesterday that in a roundabout way Castoria sort of hurts Musashi. Because prior to the craziness of yesterday most everyone felt an NP buff was warranted and it still is if you're looking at vacuum.

It's the same crap with like why Zerkerlot and Okita won't get buffed because they're too abusable with Skadi but since Edmond happened to get his before Skadi's release his was fine and no one says shit about it.

Both Skadi and Dantes NP upgrade were released at the same time, but at that time they still didn't know the crazy loops Skadi caused.

he does clear faster (not many buttons) but musashi's video is sped up
Arash without external buffs is not very reliable though

NP2 Musashi breaks 200k neutral damage when maxed in this setup, she's busted as fuck (until 2 enemy event nodes ofc)

Zerklot is not busted because Fran dumps on him (and everyone else). He is pretty good but i'm sure they'll buff him one day. Although if he just gets default interlude damage upgrade Fran will still be stronger. Zerklot will probably outdo TamaCat though
Okita is a meme though, her damage is crap compared to Musashi who just got buffed.

It's about time he gets one though, but it seems they're very allergic to give NP upgrades to AoE Berserkers.

Musashi getting an upgrade even after being deleted is even more meme than Okita not daishouri though.

Seriously, if there's one thing I want them to do one day, is to share their thought process about what makes them decide who gets an upgrade. Thematic upgrades aside like the 4 F/SN in anniversary, their choices sometimes feel completely disconnected to the current state of the game.

Edit: Btw, I don't mean that the upgrades are bad, the majority tend to be good, but some Servants are definitely in need of an upgrade more than other Servants.

its "what you will reasonable take into event farming" rule
which is only rule i abide really
for buster and quicks it results in Arash / CE + whoever
for Castoria i allow for her to have Kaleido (well hollow magic for her but i just grab kaleido by reflex since its in my favorites instead of hllow magic) - because Arash has Kaleido or 50% CE in buster/quick teams
also no supports allowed

Tbh what scares me more right now is not that some Servants will not get an upgrade because Castoria exists. I'm more worried that DW tries to do a dumb thing in order to stop this current Castoria trend, and DW has a horrible track record with this.

Imagine that for now on all Arts Servants will have completely gimped NP gain in their Arts NP to prevent looping so not even Castoria can't do anything about it. Or that they're only released with one hit for now on.

except Arts servants were never loopers in the first place
Very few servant were made capable of looping before and most require plugsuit with bride and shenanigans
So if they choose not to make more anymore its not like much would change
I also dont think that every servant should be made with looping in mind

I don't want all Servants to be NP loopers, but that doesn't mean it's okay that they stop releasing them from now on. It's okay to have different types of gameplay in this game, I don't want them to stop doing one specific type because of one Servant.

You can still NP chug the Servant to death, plus Arash is still the greatest Wave 1 clear Servant, at least on anything that isn't Lancer and has stupid amounts of health (looking at you Summer 4 event).

Of course apart from Arash the rest is not for everybody unfortunately.

It's easy. Look at how many stars Atalanta generates (doesn't matter if you use her Quick Up since EMIYA can now reach 50% Quick Up), substract the ones that her NP generates and you have the result.

Obviously, if you use his Star gen Up, it's even crazier.
