i fail to see how it is a cashout
i can see the salt if you want your arcueid to 3turn instead of 4turn, but she has not gotten any weaker since this update either so its mostly overreaction
and unlike the 8th, anniv servant pick is actually good and summer 9 is definitely more anticipated than summer 8
lack of qol is to be expected at this point, one has to wonder if they just gave up in preparation for part 3, its unfortunate but it is what it is

Isn't Tonelico a lot better now with the new append too?

It's just poor planning and either reeks of rushed development or downright dirty business practice. Or maybe both. They needed to push their big thing now and will only finish the coin system (or whatever they may have to alleviate this problem) for NY or something.

I do agree it's rushed development by the simple fact they couldn't be arsed to increase the amount of coins in the Evokation shop to match this upgrade.

Yeah, that just happened to me. I had a surplus of Habetrot coins after I maxed her fully and I decided to burn them since the game recommended it to me. This sucks...

The good news is that Habetrot is "farmable" while Servants like Saber Alter or Mori or Kriemhild will require a rerun banner and cash.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm pretty sure I had a ton of EMIYA coins before. At least another 300 or so. All thrown into the grailcasting furnace years before the news of us getting new Appends.

Yeah, but I'm not going to use my FP until we get another 1* limited Servant and/or EXP CE, and god knows if this year's Guda Guda event will offer it. I would have preferred to have access to it immediately.

I wish that 1~3* limited/story-locked Servants will just be added to the permanent pool. They're so rare that it's ridiculous.

What would really be a sign of having an unhealthy relationship with the game would be if you saw people supporting this bullshit. Calling it out is absolutely the right sort of reaction to have.

Also, is it just me or were recent upgrades designed around having that 1T CD? Now that I'm looking at most of the Servants that got an upgrade recently, the upgrades felt really tame but if we counted Append 5's 1T CD on it, it seems about right with what we should expect from such a skill with such a CD.

... Surely it's just my copium imagination at how bad/mediocre some skill upgrades are...

There's some really terrible ones in Twitter of people happy about this update because it has screwed whales, and I find the way of thinking of those people to be very toxic honestly. Not the kind of people you really want to associate with.

Also, thinking about it, this basically makes Grail casting impossible unless you only care about using a tiny handful of servants. What a stupid fucking idea.

I don't know what world you live in that you're saving coins to unlock every append and level 120 all your Bronzes and Silvers, but Grail casting will remain the same as it ever was: fueled by Habenyan/Tonkatsu/Anning/Lily and whoever else came the most when Tonkatsu and Anning are in the FP gacha.

When my rolling down millions of FP requires me burning all my 1/2/3*/Saber Lily/Habetrot Servant Coins that I get in order to get 2 grails? I think it's fair to say that, yes. I want my Kojirou and CA Hassan and whoever I use to have a good shot at the fight so why not?
