Ah, I see. Hm, it's so incredibly easy to get envious whenever you see others post their gacha hauls. (And see, most people post about their good hauls more than their bad ones, so you think 'everyone else' is just having that much more luck than you and the system is rigged against you and etcetera etcetera). I even get jealous when I see the guest illustrators (e.g. Raita) tweet about their good gacha hauls featuring the limited event servants, haha.

But then that'd be disingenuous to think that others don't think the same thing whenever I post or talk about the good stuff I've received. I mean, I already got Jeanne and Scathach in the past few weeks alone, so I needn't be particularly desperate for another 5*. Guess I've already taken those servants for granted, a feeling that's admittedly only made stronger when your friends' support lists already have a lot of them lined up.

I'm tempted to buy quartz, but I don't have a lot of money as is, not to mention the moral dilemma of spending money on a F2P game that will probably stop working at some point. I don't know what to do. ;_;

Protip: There's a point when this happens to normal games. It's when you stop playing them and get bored of them and you think you are going to play them "later"

So if you are enjoying FGO just throw them some money when you can and there's a good gatcha and be fine with that.

Yeesh, didn't want to come straight to the thread so gloomy after a couple days off from said-thread. (If only my car wasn't crashed into!)

Did at least want to share how I've proceeded with the Raikou raid, which has been surprisingly fun and not as stupid crazy as Ibaraki. (Which is old news here, now, I'm sure.) I've even been completing the 3BP fights with relative ease-- real major for me, since this never happened with Ibaraki-- and without reading up on any tips. (But then, I do have some better servants now.)

This green bean-powered setup has largely stayed like this, although I still wonder if this is the most efficient party I can put together.

Iskandar's been a great help, being able to wipe the crystals soon before they do their NP thing or whatever. I then chain Iskandar's NP with Scathach's NP, which can do 1.6-1.8 million dmg at only level 80 with all the buffs on the front line activated so that his NP would take care of the crystals. Once Minamoto's NP becomes unavoidable, I have Scathach set on evade and do the battle suit switcheroo between Waver and evade-friendly Cu, making Iskandar the sacrifice. Only real downside of this is that Waver's NP stun rate hasn't as consistent as it ought to be, so there's still some save-scumming.

The thing is, let's say in your average MMO, you pay for solid stuff, not a 1-3% chance of getting a chance to get what you paid for. Leaves only so much space for fun,if you ask me.

You have a 100% chance of getting the X amount of quartz that you pay for.

I really wanted to try Euryale but I was out Void's Refuse to ascend her after upgrading Scathach skills.

My only problem with NPs is that Raikou's rashes ten to fifteen seconds to load on screen. It's annoying and DW needs to fix it. I used to crash a lot on my own phone too. Made farming really hard.

It got to the point where I just use my grandma's new phone. Runs Grand Order way smoother than mine. Doesn't even drain battery.

Oh the plus side, everytime the game crashed, it is back to the command phase. So many times, she unleash her NP one turn earlier than expected and this crash saved my day (so I can redo the round and at least save one servent)...............

As a F2P player, i think that i would only use money if DW let's us choose which servant to roll, As the chances to get what you want in the first rolls are pretty low unless you're pretty damn lucky.

I still remember that guy that waste a lot of money trying to get Gilgamesh. RNG is a bitch.

New Year's paid gacha was a pretty good chance to roll a good 5*. Some people even rolled more than one 5* at the time in the same 40SQ roll.
