Vtuber Ciel it is.
Caster Artoria's journey was an allegory for Nasu getting tired of retreading Fate ground actually. He told me this.
now i wonder, had this info dropped first, would Petri had held off on the twitter bomb, or be more incensed
Sold.
Using vtuber as VA is actually a good marketing strategy these days especially if the person is very popular. One of the earliest example I know of using vtuber was Honkai series' Bronya CN VA Hanser, she also sings all songs related to the character. DW during Sakura Kakumei short runtime also tried to have FBK and Marine (as more of collab chars) tho that never came to be due to the game being axed. Shame.
And thirsty for Arcueid.
vtuber rin from fate extra record probably would've been the best
Your not a TYPE MOON fan if you don't even own a TM Merch or haven't fapped to a TM character.
I always compared it to how SMT fans feel about Persona.
Other than TM pulling me back in hard with the remake, that's the main reason I haven't yet made the jump from the P3-4-5 "kiddy" space. I think I'll enjoy it, the problem will be becoming invested in a part of the franchise that doesn't get the spotlight.
I don't need a new VN/anime/RPG/whatever every year. Just throw us a bone once in a while, something to chew on at least like once every two years.
I don't believe that is an unreasonable request.
I do wonder why his fuse lit up just like that.
The "you should be thankful to FGO" take has been around pretty much since the remake was confirmed.
Just a guess, but maybe he's still sore with the whole ordeal that is Lev bait.

On another note, A Tsukihime gacha would be nice, where you play as a group working with or against either the church or the vampires in a on-off relationship not unlike Chaldea with Heroic Spirits, MA, and Atlas.
That way, more DA, DAA and Church members will gain more exposures and even official art.
I wouldn't go as far as saying "you should be thankful to FGO", but I'm still amused at some of the pure hatred the core fanbase has for FGO, believing that it is the reason why other TM projects slowed down and Nasu's writing getting worse as new chapters by him comes out.
Not to speak for a person who is literally on this forum, but the tweet right before his standalone tweet was a response to a guy saying "The shitty gacha game that made TsukiR and Mahoyo Rerelease possible? sounds bad". He just made a tweet reiterating his position outside of the QRT as is common and then it took off.
To me SMT vs Persona case is less extreme because it's not involved a gacha game (yet). And SMT did get a gacha game (SMT Dx2 Liberation, it's actually quite decent) AND a dead MMO that faithful players still play on private server (SMT Imagine) while Persona did not get anything (until P5 gacha cashgrab). So I'd say SMT fans still get an edge in that regard. Persona attracted a lot of the more mainstream otakus and that led to Atlus trying to pander to them too.
tbf FGO definitely brought lore expansions to the Nasuverse, and that is a positive. It also helps attracting a lot more fans (be it good or bad) to Typemoon. So it's not like FGO destroyed TM, no. The main factor that caused people to hate it even before the whole slowing other projects IMO is the gacha. Even if you're AAA quality games like Mihoyo's, the gacha stain will always bring a lot of negativity, because it is predatory and will drag any game's reputation down, regardless of how good the game might be, period. You then add that up with existing resentment of favoritism for Fate as an IP that skyrocket TM's popularity in the mainstream otaku culture, add the delay of various TM projects, and you get a fandom split into pieces.
The private servers were still good last I played(2021).
pekora what
More Izou anniversary CEs, time for lack to shine!
Pekora collab with FGO... Sound like something out of a fever dream. Well can't have moons without rabbits i suppose.
