Torn between wanting to roll for Kenshin NP2 or rolling for more Shingen (I've already got him NP2)... Kenshin seems average but it's not really fully about gameplay for me, but also Shingen is just great.

Same here. Of course there's a few times in which some Servants have very unique gameplay, but nowadays if it's a 5*, it's most likely going to be an AoE farming unit that is better than past farming units in some regard. If it's a ST which is rare for a 5*, it will have some ability to spam their NP to be used in 90++ quests.
If anything 4* or below tend to be the ones that are more interesting because of that, since they don't care about making them farming units.
They tend to give 50% crit dmg up to AoE NP servants, yes.a bit wrong, there are not many servants with 50% crit up with single target NP, I think there is a lot of aoe np servants with 30% crit dmg up, would have to check
Summer Majin is a summer servant, they tend to have higher numbers.
Which can fail, her other buffs are for 1 turn, doesn't have ATK up
Quite strong after few strengthening, quick buff for 1 turn and atk up locked into that skill; but can make use of def down from NP
and his other buff is for 1 turn, no ATK up, AoE servant
I feel that it's always somehow more or less balanced, if they have higher value of something, then they don't have something else (other buffs or def options) or the duration of such skill is shorter. Makes one servant good for quick bursting down an opponnent, another for more consistent damage. It's not always an equivalent exchange, which in case makes the servant more desirable.
if she had 30% crit dmg 3 times for 3T, that I would call a nerf

if she didn't have the star weight for 3t on that skill, she probably would have 50% crt dmg up

Chaldea Heroes
Personal skill
Honestly, I think all these "she does everything" talk is only applicable to Grail Front. Regular fights requiring a team can easily be compensated. Damage and NP generation are always needed since you can't have too much of it but stars per turn isn't when it's drawn from a shared pool. It's a "nice to have" effect.
Also, IIRC, her skills all cap at 6 turns. Some Servants have 3T 50% Crit Damage Up on 5 turns and some are even party-wide.
EDIT: Actually, the more I think about it, the more I think she's better for Grail Front. Buffs that can be collected from the nodes (the one-time buff, not node-permanent ones) are not permanent and can be removed. And there's less pressure fighting enemies there unlike using her for boss killing. The only part of her kit that feels bad is probably the Star Attraction buff but teaming up with another Servant would still make it somewhat valuable to have.
