I do a Pokemon crossover, and I haven't received any hate. I had an idea to cross Kara no Kyoukai with Matilda of all things, and I acutally got a few positive comments. So you see, I (I can't claim to represent BL here) don't hate on originality. It's just at what you tried to write (too many OCs, virtually no respect for canon) has been done too many times, all by lesser authors.

Oh, you know, unlucky grill? A rather decent person, but snaps hard when placed under extreme pressure? Takes demoted to extra to new depths? You can figure out the rest.
I was gonna have a crossover of Fate with Aliens but for the reason Buster stated the fanbases need to be the same so likely wont bother (though Umbra seems persistent that I go with it).

please do a crossover with Lantz you guys would be great.
Well, I did try to be as inoffensive as I could while still telling the truth. But I suppose I could have gone into more depth as to why the idea was poor, though I'll admit I don't think I could go into it much due to my own lack in knowledge of Nasu Canon.
This basically sums up all else I could reasonably think to say here, so I suppose I'm done.Look, pal. From this board came the story "Tomb of the Sun God", that does exactly what you claim you are trying to do, without using any established setting (in other words, grail war, tsukihime, mahoyo or Kara no kyoukai) neither the characters of said settings (Shirou, Rin, Shiki, etc). So don't tell us that we can't accept unconventional jobs. What we don't accept is bad jobs. Write something decent and most of us wouldn't even pay attention if you break canon (as long as you don't demolish it completely, of course). But do a bad job and we will point it, even if you are respectful with the setting, something you are clearly not.

I doubt if I were to post "The Night of Warakia", you will turn me in to grilled chicken.
Then post it?
see you tomorrow.
I'm sticking to my troll theory by the way, I was just thrown off by the unexpected effort involved.
Ragnarok, come day of wrath
That fallen souls might bear our plea.
To hasten the Divine's return.
O piteous Wanderer.
It's too early (or too late) to say, methinks.

It's too early (or too late) to say, methinks. But I lean towards Franco's school of thought. If I'd posted my earlier fanfics here, I'd probably go berserk about what people say about it, too.

Well, if you wrote it and it was any good, then I would give a review that reflects that. But since have never seen it (either link, or post here?), how would I know whether I would "turn [you] into grilled chicken"?I doubt if I were to post "The Night of Warakia", you will turn me in to grilled chicken.
Edit: Is it me or is this sentence a bit wonky? "if I were to post"/"you will turn" should be "If I were to post"/"you would turn" or "when I post"/"you will turn"? It just reads weird when I look at it.
Yeah, I think I should go to sleep, my reading comprehension skills are becoming impaired.
