And both of them
my modeling thing has poly limits so I can't really do the taijitu. :/

Whoa hey there! Are you making 3D models? This was slightly my forte until I tried to focus on getting better at 2D art. I'd be super happy to extend a helping hand out.
What programs are you using for these models? Do you know how to UV Unwrap/Map? For renders you probably want to bake an AO (Ambient Occlusion map) over your model to make it pop out shading wise. Likewise, I'm not so sure if this would help on something like a specific weapon but you could also apply gradient maps.
Here's the idea of just a basic gradient map over a model I made, without an AO map/pass:
And here's what an AO map pass can do:
These both share the same rendering and lighting setups, just one has an AO pass (based on a high poly sculpt) over it. As you can see, the AO map pass adds subtle shadows on the edges of shapes (it's more prominent on the rocks) and takes in account shadows being casted on it (the lower jaw is shaded on it's upper part).
Though AO maps usually benefit from high poly sculpts from zbrush or mudbox, it can still really help textures on lower poly models.
Granted if you haven't learned UV Unwrapping, you'll need to learn how to do that first.

I'm actually making these for a game, so my tools for making them are a bit limited. I can only use CSG, and mapping (as far as I'm aware) is a planned feature but not actually implemented yet. I also have a poly-limit of 2500, which kind of limits it.
I'm not amazing at it by any standards, I was just making them for something else and decided to share.
(also no, the game isn't really fate related, it's an easter egg)
CSG? So like AutoCAD or something? And you can ONLY use CSG? School Project?
Thats surprising, while I'm sure not all schools can dish out money for 3DSMAX or MAYA, I feel that they should atleast let you use Blender or something, especially if the project is game related. The model I posted earlier is definitely under 2500 polys and was made for the DotA 2 Workshop.
Is this a custom engine? You've got me curious now.
Ah, no. There's a game called Roblox, which until pretty recently you'd just build lego-like things in, but they recently added CSG to it.
I've been getting familiar with their API for a few years now and you can cash out your virtual currency if you get enough of it. I've kind of gotten into the upper circle so it should be easy to get publicity after I finish my project.
Hamburgers.
(I have a tendency of not finishing things I've started.)
I hang out alot at my own Discord server, though there isn't really much activity in there. The Art Haus Chatterbox!Accepting commissions. Do you want some art done, and do you want it done for cheap? PM me, man, and we can talk.Currently not taking any commissions, sorry!
Do I say something pretentiously nice or bluntly rude?
Hmmhmmmmmm...
Click the image to go to it. I'll probably rework it later, I'm trying to get better at 2D art/painting because my textures are kind of meh-ish.
To keep this from derailing into Ross' Fanart Dump Thread #2, ROBLOX? I've never heard of ROBLOX, but you can create your own virtual items for ingame currency to cash out later if you get enough? Sounds interesting! Does ROBLOX have it's own CSG editor? What are you using to create your CSG models?
Oh here's a bad drawing I did a while ago of Luna from Zero Escape.
Spoiler:
If it makes you feel better, I wasn't trying to make it look good lol
