Somewhat. In appearance, anyway. He's a lot like Negi in looks, though a much different personality's in there. Since there are now two of him in one place, there's all kinds of madness gonna happen.
Especially considering Aoko's there. Hmmm. I sense trouble.
Now I have to wonder how it would be Negima with Zel-kun instead of Negi in the story. Or even better, with both of them.

You know you want a Negima/Nasuverse crossover.
Watch as the relatively ordinary characters of FSN and Tsuki become as br0ken as Negi and Rakan. How will Arc handle being severed from the World's backup? Just how big will Shiki and Shirou's harems become? Will Shinji actually learn magic? An epic quest in the magical world awaits.
That would end with the event known as "The Harems Wars" where the harems of Shirou, Shiki and Negi would fight to prove the supremacy of their husbands. Of course, the harem of Negi would suffer some loses at the hands of Shirou and shiki... and I mean change of sides, of course. Eventually Fate and his harem would show up, and the three main characters would destroy him. Badly. And I mean that his own harem would leave him, or at least a few ones. Negi gets her canon member of Fate's harem, Shirou would get the Fire tsundere, and Shiki the driad. The other three... I'm not sure if they would leave Fate.
