Mellon and I arebloodthirsty beasts/impatient/hate slice of life/violent monstersnight owls and want to get to night phase and I want to know how everyone else feels, since Mellon and I are both eager enough that we'd happily jet into the night phase after our scenes end if we could.

Everyone should take a nap IC before the night phase. Sleep is going to get scarce, get as much as you can now!
As my words have been so succinctly hijacked by my friend Spinach, I have little to say but express my heartfelt support for his idea!
On a more serious note, I believe that if we get the initial setup going, the day phases will be more engaging as well (since we can actively scheme and move against each other in less... direct ways). As things are on this first day however, we are pretty much firing in the dark and doing the meet and greet.
Maybe we can run summaries like we did in Regalia?
I mean, I still want to do two things during day phase, but I'm not staunchly opposed to an "X happened, now you're in Night Phase"-type thing.

Actually the more I look at it, the worse an idea it obviously is. I am actually fairly confident I was underselling day periods by describing them as equal to night events when by most reasonable metrics they are superior.

How do you defeat a sheath? What constitutes victory? Sheath is unbeatable.
There is no conflict by that point. A sheath is a mere receptacle, an ornament. It cannot cut anything.
