    Japan's Animator's Expo Shorts courtesy of Studio Khara & Hideaki Anno- like ME!ME!ME!

    Any of you seen this latest new "Japan Animator's Expo" video that was posted? Only just got wind of this project started up by Hideaki Anno and Studio Khara, which started premiering weekly anime shorts, and I saw its latest short. It…. caught my attention.

    For a production where Hideaki Anno had no credit actually listed, it sure felt like something Anno would show or say message-wise I'd say. Watch out for a particular homage to End of Evangelion.

    I don't wanna say that this was Gurren Lagann with boobs instead of drills, but this was Gurren Lagann with boobs insteads of drills. With Teenaged Kiritsugu in a WARFRAME suit. And heavily seasoned with Welcome to the NHK's atmosphere.

    It was definitely an interesting experience. The sound composition worked wonderfully with its visuals, so at least a great deal of thought went into the direction.

    Dragon Dentist reassures me that Anno/Khara might not shit up Nausicaa. The 3D for Hill Climber Girl didn't look too creepy either, so kudos for that. MeMeMe is like the anime version of ironic shitposting. With wub.

    Apparently it had more frames of animation than an average 24 minute anime episode, lol. (My favorite part was the flying space vagina arena; the music and animation synced up especially well there.)
